Godhead Machinery - Ouroboros

First off we have the title track 'Ouroboros' which is a haunting eerie instrumental intro leading up to the first track proper.

'The Plague' starts with a maniacal mix of death and black metal. When the first verse starts it settles into a more black metal sound with vicious, blood curdling vocals.

Track 3 'Tithe' is a very atmospheric and technical mid-paced song. It has a traditional black metal sound throughout.

'A House Divided' has the same mid-paced feel as the previous track, but breaks it up with some great guitar and drum work on some fast sections with blast beats aplenty.

The amazing drum work continues on 'Council Of Nicaea', the tempo really picks up on this track with evil sounding guitars and vocals relentlessly smashing your eardrums.

Track 6 'Revalation' acts as a "calm before the storm" intro to the album's final effort 'Praise The Flesh'. This song is a slow and sludgy affair. It has a very atmospheric feel and there is some great melody created with the guitar.

The music is nasty yet atmospheric throughout this album. If you like black metal with an evil edge, check out these lovely Swedish gents.
